classic aircraft, i am told it is a mallard sea plane ,usa,but i can see looking in airline .net ,that it is smaller ,so albatross,
stock old film shots transfers, bigginhill air-fair
i am know told it is a GRUMMAN ALBATROSS,USN,hu,16a
and flown by the coast guard , :p

They were also flown by the USAF as air sea rescue. My Father Chief/M-Sgt. William Henry York USAF Retired, was crew chief of a PBY-5A operating out of England during WW2. He transited to the HU-16 as crew chief stationed out of the Middle East after the war.

It is a Grumman Albatross. The USN and Coast Guard flew Albatross. The Mallard looks similar but smaller.
